SafeWork SA compliance campaign targets construction falls

SafeWork SA plans to conduct a compliance campaign from July to ensure construction workers are complying with fall protection regulations.

The safety regulator says falls are a major cause of occupational deaths in Australia.

Last year, SafeWork SA was notified of 77 serious fall injuries.

SafeWork SA Executive Director Glenn Farrell said more information about the campaign will be released this week.
