Throughout this week, SafeWork NSW inspectors will be on-site in the Newcastle, Maitland, and Lake Macquarie regions, performing inspections at construction sites to ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations and compliance requirements.

SafeWork says ensuring safety while operating near mobile equipment on a construction site is of utmost importance and inspectors will be monitoring to ensure workers and machinery, including forklifts and vehicles, are kept apart whenever feasible.
