Safe Work Australia updates 2023 workplace fatality figures

The new figures show Transport, postal and warehousing have so far reported eight fatalities, followed by mining with three fatalities, while the Manufacturing industry is ranked third, with two fatalities.

Agriculture, Forestry & Fishing, Arts & Recreation Services and Construction have each recorded one fatality.

Safe Work Australia released the new figures last week.
