Safe Work Australia to employers: 'Manage work-related psychological risks'

Safe Work Australia reminds employers that they have a duty to protect workers from psychological harm.

Safe Work Australia said, "Managing psychosocial risks at work is just as important as managing physical risks."

According to the federal government's safety regulator, psychosocial risks can be managed using a four-step risk management process.

Safe Work Australia said they have an infographic that explains how employers can apply the four-step risk management process.

"Every step of the risk management process must be supported by consultation with workers and their representatives," Safe Work Australia said in a recent media statement.
