Safe Work Australia releases updated information on Australian and other Standards

Safe Work Australia has released a revised information sheet and new web page about Australian and other Standards.

The sheet provides information about how these standards interact with occupational health and safety regulations and approved Codes of Practice.

“Standards are published documents that are designed to provide guidance to help ensure safety, performance and reliability through the specifications of goods, services and systems,” Safe Work Australia said in a statement.
