Safe Work Australia releases new information on WHS prosecutions


Safe Work Australia has revised the WHS prosecutions dashboard on its website to incorporate the most recent publicly accessible data from the year 2023.

The safety agency states that the prosecutions dashboard compiles national data on criminal prosecutions for violating WHS regulations since January 1, 2020.

The 2023 data shows that there were 293 prosecutions documented for violating workplace safety rules in Australia during that year.
