Rider killed in Taranaki quad bike crash

A fatal incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when a rider lost their life in a quad bike rollover in Purangi.

Police said they were alerted at 2:30pm to an incident where a quad bike had flipped over on the road next to paddocks.

The rider sustained severe injuries and unfortunately succumbed to them at the scene.
