Rider hospitalised after crashing quad bike in the South Burnett Region

A rider was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital following a quad bike crash at Blackbutt South on Sunday morning.

A spokesperson for QAS confirmed the rider sustained serious injuries to their leg.

Emergency services were alerted at around 9:40am, and a rescue chopper successfully landed near the scene.

The rider was then flown to the hospital in a stable condition.
