Rider flown to hospital after falling from horse

A Queensland woman was flown to hospital after falling from her horse on Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened in the Western Downs region.

The LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter was tasked at around 12.30pm.

The rescue chopper flew the woman in her 40s to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition, with suspected spinal injuries.
