Rider dies after quad bike crash in Central NSW

A man in his sixties has been killed following a collision with a pig while operating his quad bike in Central NSW.

He was discovered with severe head injuries at Five Ways, approximately 70km south-west of Nyngan, just before 1am on Saturday.

The man received medical attention but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the incident scene.

Witness accounts indicate he was riding his quad bike when he struck the animal, which also perished as a result.

Police said they are examining the details related to the incident.
