Queensland worker survives 30m cliff plunge

A worker has been seriously injured after he plunged 30m down a steep cliff on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday morning.

The man in his 20s was working on trees when he fell from the edge, landing on the rocks below.

He suffered multiple injuries in the fall.

The man was winched to safety by the RACQ LifeFlight helicopter and transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
