Queensland worker flown to hospital after snake bite

A worker has been airlifted to hospital after being bitten by a snake in northwest Queensland.

The man was working in an isolated area on Saturday morning when the incident occurred.

He drove his car for a short distance to seek help.

He met two men who administered first aid before calling emergency crews.

The man in his 20s was later flown to Mount Isa Hospital to be treated for leg injuries.
