Queensland seeks public input on Work Health and Safety Act 2011 review

The Queensland Government is seeking public feedback on the ongoing review of the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act).

The Queensland's Work Health and Safety Act review was announced by Industrial Relations Minister Grace Grace last month.

The review is led by three independent reviewers, including a former Deputy Director General of the Office of Industrial Relations, a lawyer specialising in Industrial Relations and Employment and a former Deputy President of the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission.

The consultation period ends on Friday, 23 September 2022, with findings and recommendations from the review set to be presented to the State Government later this year.
