Queensland man hospitalised after chainsaw incident

A man is in hospital suffering abdominal injuries after a chainsaw incident in southern Queensland.

Paramedics were called to a property in the Southern Downs Region after the incident on Thursday morning.

It is believed the man in his 70s was working with the chainsaw at the time of the incident.

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital by RACQ LifeFlight rescue chopper.
