Queensland farmer rescued after falling off tractor and being trapped in mud for two days

A Queensland farmer who fell from his tractor and became trapped in mud has been rescued after two days.

It is believed the 95-year-old man was working next to a dam south of Gympie when his tractor became bogged.

He was found near his tractor on Tuesday afternoon.

Paramedics treated him at the scene and took him to the Sunshine Coast Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
