Queensland farmer flown to hospital after excavator incident

A Queensland man was airlifted to hospital Saturday afternoon after suffering injuries in a farming incident.

According to LifeFlight, the man in his 30s was operating an excavator when he was injured.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was called to the Gympie Region shortly before 4.30pm to airlift the injured man.

The man was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital with leg injuries.
