Queensland couple hospitalised after cattle trampling incident

A couple has been transported to hospital following a cattle trampling incident on a rural property in Central Queensland.

The man and woman sustained injuries to their head and chest during the incident, which occurred on Monday at around 9am.

Paramedics arrived at the scene soon after the incident to provide necessary treatment, and a RACQ CapRescue helicopter was also dispatched to the rural property, south of Rockhampton.

The rescue chopper airlifted one of the patients, in a serious condition to Rockhampton Hospital, while the other was transported by road to Biloela Hospital.
