Quad bike rider injured in South Burnett crash

A rider was flown to the hospital following a quad bike incident west of Kingaroy.

The LifeFlight helicopter was called to the scene at about 11:35am on Monday morning.

LifeFlight said a man in his twenties was herding cattle when the quad bike flipped, causing his leg to become pinned beneath the bullbar.

The rider received treatment for a leg injury before being flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for additional care.
