Probe into fatal farm death north of Esperance

WorkSafe has launched an investigation after a 59-year-old farmer was crushed to death by a seed bin north of Esperance on Thursday.

Reports indicated the man was performing repairs under the seed bin at the time of the incident.

"WorkSafe investigators examine the circumstances of incidents with a view to ensuring compliance and preventing future incidents of a similar nature,” the safety regulator said in statement.
