Pilot killed in Queensland light plane crash

A pilot has been killed in a light plane crash south of Townsville.

Police said the plane crashed in bushland on Sunday morning.

The pilot, the sole occupant, was found dead at the scene.

The crash is under investigation by the Forensic Crash Unit.
