OHS Daily News

A crop-dusting pilot sustained minor injuries when his aircraft crashed in central Queensland.

The pilot, the only individual aboard the aircraft, was engaged in agricultural activities at a rural property in Barnard when the incident happened on Wednesday.

The pilot successfully extricated himself and escaped with slight injuries before the aircraft was engulfed in fire.

The man in his thirties was transported by the Capricorn Rescue Helicopter to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.

The Australian Transport and Safety Bureau is still conducting inquiries.
