NSW yearly mine safety performance report released

The Annual mine safety performance report for 2024–25 has been released by the NSW Resources Regulator.

The regulator states that the report offers a decade-long summary of safety performance in the industry and data on regulatory activities in accordance with work health and safety laws

“Reporting this information provides lag indicators of safety performance and enables operators to benchmark their performance against others in their industry sector,” the regulator said.
