NSW Resources Regulator's quarterly safety report released

The NSW Resources Regulator's latest quarterly safety report indicates that 159 incident notifications were received between July to September 2022.

The report shows no mine-related fatality occurred in NSW during this period.

The Regulator says the purpose of the report is to help the industry comply with workplace health and safety rules.

"As a high-hazard regulator, we focus on compliance with legislative requirements associated with principal and other high-risk hazards," the Resources Regulator said on Wednesday.

"Roads or other vehicle operating areas', 'fires or explosion' and 'air quality or dusts and other airborne contaminants are hazards that feature regularly in incident notifications."
