NSW Resources Regulator lists compliance priorities for first half of 2023

The NSW Resources Regulator has listed a number of compliance priorities for the next six months.

From January to June 2023, the regulator will focus on psychosocial risk in the mining sector, inspection programs, workshops and seminars.

The regulator will also be visiting worksites to ensure miners are complying with the WHS (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022.

“By publishing its compliance priorities, the Regulator aims to be transparent and increase voluntary compliance and community and industry confidence in regulatory activities,” the NSW Resources Regulator said on Thursday.
