NSW Resource Regulator Taking Mine Safety Message on the Road

NSW Resource Regulator Taking Mine Safety Message on the Road

The NSW Resources Regulator will hold its annual health and safety roadshow for small mines and quarries across New South Wales during February, March and April 2022.

Roadshow stops will cover 15 regional areas, from February 10 to April 6, delivering practical information on health and safety practices for operators across NSW mining and quarrying activities. Sessions will also give site operators an opportunity for face-to-face engagement with the regulator, allowing questions on daily operational activities to be addressed directly.

Limited Tickets Available

The Resources Regulator notes limited tickets are available for the event, so early registration is recommended for those wanting to attend.

Why This Roadshow Matters for Site Safety

Small mine and quarry operators often face unique challenges when maintaining consistent health standards across remote sites. Face-to-face sessions like these help bridge gaps between regulatory guidance and on-ground practice, particularly for teams managing safety documentation such as job safety analysis templates or site-specific safe work method statements.

Businesses reviewing their current safety systems may also benefit from exploring dedicated safety software solutions to support ongoing compliance beyond the roadshow dates.
