NSW remembers victims of workplace tragedies

The NSW Government has paid tribute to those who have died as a consequence of workplace incidents or health-related issues during the observance of the International Day of Mourning.

Every year, April 28 represents a crucial moment to commemorate those who have lost their lives and to acknowledge the families whose lives have been permanently altered due to workplace incidents, injuries, or illnesses.

“To those who have lost a loved one: our Government and the people of New South Wales stand with you amid the ongoing pain and grief,” the state government declared in a statement.

“Nothing we say could begin to fill the void left by your loved one, but as we reflect on the grief of those left behind, we rededicate ourselves to reducing workplace-related incidents and deaths.”
