NSW firefighter killed by falling beam

A firefighter was killed while fighting a blaze in Sydney's north-west last week.

Emergency crews were called to Grose Vale at around 8am on December 12 following reports of a house fire.

The 51-year-old man was struck by a falling beam while battling the huge blaze.

Fellow firefighters performed CPR but the man died at the scene.
