NSW factory worker sustains fatal injuries after being struck by steel beam

A worker has died after being struck by a steel beam at a NSW steel factory.

Reports stated that the beam dropped from a crane and fatally hit the worker around 10:30 am on Monday.

Paramedics discovered the man in his 20s suffering from severe injuries, but unfortunately, he could not be saved and succumbed at the scene.

Through a spokesperson, SafeWork NSW has confirmed that it is conducting an investigation into the incident.
