NHVR partners with viral comedian Jimmy Rees to improve heavy vehicle safety

The NHVR has partnered with comedian Jimmy Rees in its latest campaign to promote truck safety on Australian roads.

The campaign, christened ‘We All Need Space’ urges motorists to drive safely around trucks.

“While the average driver might not spend much time considering what it means to drive safely around trucks, as a dad that likes caravanning during school holidays, I have seen all sorts of drivers out there, especially when you are towing something heavy,” Jimmy Rees said.

The comedian uses his three ‘point of view’ videos to educate light vehicle drivers on the need to give truckies extra space on the road.
