New Zealand poultry business receives improvement notice after worker injury

A New Zealand poultry business has received an improvement notice following an incident in which a worker’s leg became trapped in machinery.

The incident happened on March 19.

The worker was transported to Dunedin Hospital suffering leg injuries.

WorkSafe confirmed it had issued an improvement notice to the business following the incident.
