New online tool aims to help construction workers meet their WHS obligations

A new online tool has been developed by Safe Work Australia to help construction workers understand and fulfill their duties under WHS laws.

The interactive Know Your Duties tool explains the duties of PCBUs and workers, how workers and employers can meet these duties, common construction hazards and provides tips for managing construction risks.

“The tool also provides information on common WHS hazards in construction, including outdoor work, working at heights, scaffolding, electrical work, and demolition work,” Safe Work Australia said.
