New inspectors to promote health and safety in NSW workplaces

Thirty five new graduates will join the SafeWork inspectorate team to help ensure NSW workers return home safely at the end of each day.

SafeWork says the new inspectors who recently graduated from the New Inspector Training Program will be sent to workplaces across the state to work with the local communities.

According to the workplace safety agency, the 35 graduates specialised in different fields including ‘construction, health and safe design, chemicals, explosives and safety audits, investigations and emergency response.’

“We wish our 35 recently graduated inspectors the best of luck in their new careers and celebrate the ongoing commitment and dedication of our six Inspectors who graduated with an Advanced Diploma and thank them for continuing to develop their skills to provide safer workplaces across NSW,” head of SafeWork Trent Curtin said.
