The Victorian Government has unveiled a new initiative focused on combating occupational violence and aggression.

The new campaign from WorkSafe Victoria, titled "Don’t Cross the Line," urges ordinary Victorians to reflect on the impact of verbal abuse, such as yelling and swearing, that workers may face in their daily jobs.

This campaign will be broadcasted on television and radio, shared on social media, published in print, and presented in workplaces, highlighting the overall impact of these aggressive behaviours.

Commenting on the initiative, Deputy Premier and Minister for WorkSafe and the TAC, Ben Carroll, remarked, “There is never a place for aggressive or violent behaviour and this campaign is asking Victorians a very simple thing – to treat workers with the respect they deserve.”
