New agriculture safety tool provides quick access to information

Safe Work Australia has developed a pilot tool to help agricultural workers access safety information quickly.

Under the Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy 2012-2002, Safe Work Australia has identified the agriculture industry as one of the priority industries. So far this year, the industry has recorded 22 work-related fatalities.

SafeWork SA said “the Agriculture Pilot Tool is designed to allow farmers and agriculture business owners to navigate the SafeWork Australia website more simply to find the information they are seeking.”
