Victorian workplace death toll rises to 19.
There have been four workplace fatalities in just eight days in Victoria. The most recent incident resulted in the death of a 47-year-old factory worker.
The man was struck by machinery at a factory in Dandenong South on Wednesday last week.
It is believed he suffered a fatal head injury when an attachment on a rubber extrusion machine hit him.
WorkSafe Victoria is currently investigating the incident. This recent incident brings the Victorian 2021 workplace fatality toll to 19
