Model WHS Regulations Relating to Major Hazard Facilities Open for Public Feedback

Safe Work Australia seeks public input on the model Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations relating to Major Hazard Facilities (MHFs).

The federal safety regulator welcomes feedback from operators of MHF facilities in Australia, Australian MHF regulators and members of the public interested in MHFs.

"The purpose of this consultation is to gather evidence to better understand stakeholder concerns with the model WHS Regulations in relation to MHFs. This will help us determine whether changes to the model WHS laws are required," Safe Work Australia said.

Public consultation will run for four weeks, closing on Thursday, 3 November 2022.
