Mines Emergency Response Assessed: NSW Regulator Reviews Underground Preparedness
Last year, the NSW Resources Regulator conducted an inspection program targeting underground mines to assess their preparedness for emergencies. Mine safety depends heavily on how well operators establish and maintain emergency preparedness, and this program set out to measure exactly that.
