Mine worker suffers fatal injuries at Mount Britton site

Resources Safety and Health Queensland is conducting an investigation following the death of a mine worker in central Queensland.

Initial investigations revealed the man was working alone when he was reportedly hit by a rock on January 2.

Unfortunately, he later succumbed to his injuries.

"Our investigation is ongoing and will thoroughly examine the nature and cause of this tragic incident," RSHQ CEO Rob Djukic said.
