Mine worker dies after vehicle incident in central Queensland

A mine worker has died in a vehicle-related incident in central Queensland.

The 27-year-old man was working at a coal mine in Queensland’s Bowen Basin on Monday afternoon when he reportedly became trapped between two vehicles.

The man was transported to Dysart hospital with critical crush injuries.

He died while undergoing treatment.

Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) confirmed it was aware of the incident and had launched an investigation into the fatality.
