Mid-term assessment of the National Return to Work Strategy 2020–2030 published

SafeWork Australia has published the mid-term review of the National Return to Work Strategy 2020–2030 (the Strategy).

SafeWork Australia states that the Strategy offers a decade-long framework to enhance and utilise national efforts aimed at improving return-to-work results for workers suffering from occupational injuries or diseases.

The review assessed the Strategy's effectiveness after its initial 5 years of execution and highlighted significant challenges and opportunities needing greater attention in the upcoming 5 years.

The review determined that the strategy has successfully influenced, informed, and guided stakeholders to enhance return to work outcomes.
