Melbourne worker dies following machinery crushing incident

A worker was fatally crushed by machinery at a distribution facility in Ravenhall on Monday afternoon.

In a statement, WorkSafe Victoria said the 27-year-old man was crushed between moving parts of an ‘automated stock collection robot’ while trying to fix a jammed item around 3pm.

WorkSafe has confirmed that an investigation into the incident is currently in progress.
