Melbourne warehouse worker succumbs to injuries in hospital after forklift incident

WorkSafe has commenced an investigation after a worker lost their life in a forklift incident at a Melbourne warehouse on Sunday.

WorkSafe said the man, aged 62, was positioned in a metal stillage elevated by forklift tines when the stillage became unbalanced and descended approximately 2.5 meters to the ground.

The man suffered severe head injuries and passed away in the hospital on Monday.
