Man’s hand gets stuck in farm machinery

A man in his 20s sustained serious injuries after his hand became trapped in farm machinery for several hours on Friday afternoon.

The man contacted authorities through an emergency app on his phone.

The LifeFlight SGAS chopper was called to a farm southwest of Kingaroy, just after 1.30pm.

It took the combined efforts of emergency services and the LifeFlight crew to free the man.

He was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in stable condition.
