Man sustains severe injuries following horse kick on Gold Coast

A Gold Coast man sustained critical injuries after being struck by a horse on Thursday morning.

Emergency services were called to Bundall at around am due to reports of a serious injury sustained by a rider.

Upon reaching the scene, they discovered a man in his twenties suffering from chest injuries that could be life-threatening.

Paramedics provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting the man to Gold Coast University Hospital for further care.
