Man sustains injuries to his upper body in tractor incident east of Melbourne

A man sustained injuries in a work-related incident with a tractor on a property east of Melbourne.

The incident took place in Gladysdale shortly before 9.30am on Thursday.

Paramedics said a man aged in his forties sustained injuries to his upper body.

He was taken by helicopter to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
