Man sustains critical injuries after plummeting six meters from rooftop at NSW workplace

A worker has sustained serious injuries after falling off a roof in northern NSW.

The incident involved a 60-year-old man who fell from a height of 6 meters while working at a property in Gunnedah at about 10:30am on Thursday.

Emergency responders provided treatment at the site before he was flown to John Hunter Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.

Police have reported that the incident is under investigation by SafeWork NSW.
