Man suffers serious leg injuries after being trapped in conveyor belt south of Sydney

Emergency services were called to Banksmeadow after a man got his leg caught in a conveyor belt on Tuesday morning.

NSW Ambulance said a pallet fell onto the man’s leg just after 9.30am.

The man in his 50s suffered serious leg injuries following the incident.

He was transported to the Royal Prince Alfred hospital for treatment.

He travelled in a stable condition.
