Man suffers critical injuries after workplace incident

A man is being treated for serious injuries following a workplace incident in south West Queensland.

LifeFlight said the man was struck by a piece of equipment while working at a bore site in the Maranoa region on Friday afternoon.

The LifeFlight Rescue chopper was called to the incident shortly before 3pm.

The man in his 20s was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
