Man struck by metal beam at Logan workplace

A man in his 50s has sustained severe injuries following a workplace incident in South East Queensland.

The incident happened shortly after 9am on Friday in Loganholme, where it is believed steel beams were dropped onto the man's legs by a forklift.

Paramedics arrived at the location and provided treatment for his serious leg injuries.

He was later conveyed to Princess Alexandra Hospital, where his condition was deemed stable.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland has been notified.
