Man struck by 500kg of damp concrete at Sydney construction site

A man has been transported to the hospital following an incident in which he was allegedly struck by 500 kilograms of wet concrete that fell at a Sydney construction site.

The 38-year-old man was struck by the concrete around 2am on Thursday at a building site in Arncliffe.

Paramedics arrived and discovered that the man had sustained injuries to his neck and wrist.

The incident has been reported to SafeWork NSW.
